Description

The VIEGA Smartpress multilayer composite pipe (article 607388) is a 25 x 2.8 mm PE-Xc/aluminum/PE-Xc pipe supplied with a factory-applied 9 mm thermal insulation jacket in blue, on a 25 m roll.

Its 5-layer construction — plastic, welded aluminum, plastic — blocks oxygen diffusion, keeps the pipe dimensionally stable, and lets it hold a bent shape without springback, while the pre-applied insulation removes a separate lagging step on site.

It’s designed to be joined with Viega Smartpress press fittings, which crimp onto the plain pipe ends without an O-ring, for potable water and heating installations.
