Description

The VIEGA Smartpress reducing tee (model 6718, article 729974) branches a 16 mm outlet off a 20 mm through-run, all three ports made with Viega’s press connection. Unlike the 20 x 16 x 16 mm variant, it keeps the full 20 mm diameter across the main line and only reduces the branch.

As with other Smartpress metal fittings, the joints include SC-Contur, so any port left unpressed becomes visibly leaky as soon as the system is filled with water for testing, rather than staying hidden.

It’s a compact way to take a smaller branch off a 20 mm distribution run without introducing a separate reducer and standard tee.
