Description

The VIEGA Smartpress union coupling (model 6735, article 730598) connects a 16 mm Smartpress press fitting on one side to a 3/4″ euroconus swivel-nut connection on the other, the conical seal pattern widely used on radiator valves and manifold outlets.

Because the euroconus side uses a swivel nut rather than a fixed thread, the fitting can be tightened and, if needed, disconnected again for servicing without disturbing the pressed joint on the pipe side, which is useful at a radiator or appliance connection point.

Both connections are bronze, in line with Viega’s metal Smartpress fittings, and it carries SC-Contur, so the press side shows a visible leak if it’s ever filled without having been pressed.
