Description

The VIEGA Sanpress Inox adapter (model 2311, article 436520) transitions a 28 mm Sanpress Inox press connection to a 1″ male (R) thread with a polygonal wrench flat, letting the stainless steel pipe run terminate at a threaded fixture, valve or manifold connection.

It carries SC-Contur, so a press joint that hasn’t been properly pressed shows up as a visible leak as soon as the system is filled for testing, and it’s rated to a maximum operating temperature of 110 °C and a working pressure of up to 16 bar.

It’s the larger-thread counterpart to the 3/4″ version of this adapter, used where the connecting fixture needs a full 1″ male thread.
