Description

The Viega art. 440459 is a drainage reducer (Reduzierstück) that bridges the common step between a DN 90 concealed WC outlet — as used on Prevista Dry and equivalent in-wall frames — and a DN 100 building drain stack. Manufactured in grey polypropylene (PP), it is lightweight, corrosion-proof and suited to permanent gravity drainage.

Identified by Viega model number 3816.2, the reducer is supplied complete with its rubber sealing gasket. It simplifies rough-in work during concealed toilet installations where the building drain runs at 100 mm but the WC element outlets at 90 mm.
