Description

The VIEGA Smartpress reducing tee (model 6718, article 729936) is sized 16 x 20 x 16 mm: the first through-port and the branch are 16 mm, while the second through-port steps up to 20 mm. All three connections are press joints, letting a Smartpress run change diameter and branch at the same point.

It belongs to the same stainless steel T-piece family as the other reducing tees in the Smartpress range and carries the same SC-Contur safeguard, which makes an unpressed joint show up as a visible leak when the installation is first filled and tested.

This layout is useful where a branch needs to come off right at a point where the main pipe itself also steps up in size.
