Description

The VIEGA Sanpress Inox 45° elbow (model 2326, article 435790) changes the direction of a 22 mm stainless steel run through a shallow angle, with a press connection and EPDM sealing element on each end.

Unlike the plug-in variant of this elbow, both ends here are standard press sockets, so it drops into a run between two lengths of Sanpress Inox pipe. It carries SC-Contur, making an unpressed connection show up as a visible leak during the initial fill and test rather than staying hidden.

It’s a common way to make a shallow direction change in a distribution run without the sharper turn of a 90° elbow.
