Description

The VIEGA Smartpress tee (model 6718, article 729929) branches a 16 mm run into a second 16 mm outlet, with a press connection on all three ports for Viega Smartpress multilayer composite pipe.

It’s made from stainless steel with a PPSU support body inside each press connection, which keeps the joint round and leak-tight during crimping. Like the rest of the Smartpress range, it presses without an O-ring, so no calibrating or expanding of the pipe end is needed, and it carries SC-Contur so an unpressed joint shows up as a visible leak once the system is filled for testing.

It’s a standard way to take a same-size branch off a 16 mm Smartpress distribution run for potable water or heating installations.
