Description

The VIEGA Smartpress reducing coupling (model 67152, article 729790) is a straight, in-line fitting for stepping a Smartpress multilayer pipe run down from 25 mm (DN20) to 16 mm (DN12). Both ends are press connections, so no adapters or intermediate fittings are needed to change pipe size mid-run.

The fitting body is bronze on both connections, consistent with Viega’s metal Smartpress components, and measures 67.3 mm in length. It carries the SC-Contur feature common across the Smartpress line, which makes an unpressed connection leak visibly during the initial fill-and-test rather than staying hidden.

It’s typically used where a distribution pipe transitions to a smaller branch feeding an individual outlet, radiator or fixture, keeping the reduction within a single compact part rather than stacking separate fittings.
