VIEGA Smartpress 90° Press Elbow 20×20 mm — Art. 729851

Description

The Viega Smartpress 90° elbow (art. 729851) is a flow-optimised press fitting for 20 mm multilayer (composite) pipe with two press-connection ends. An internal PPSU support sleeve stabilises the pipe end during pressing, eliminating the need to calibrate or widen the pipe before connection. The stainless-steel body joins permanently via tool-driven radial press — no soldering, threading or adhesive required.

Approved for potable water (EN 806-2 / DIN 1988-200) up to 70 °C and 10 bar, and for heating circuits up to 80 °C and 10 bar. Also suitable for rainwater and compressed-air systems. The Smartpress system is designed for multilayer PEX-AL-PEX pipe only.
