Description

The VIEGA Smartpress transition piece (model 6711, article 729578) transitions a 25 mm Smartpress press connection to a 3/4″ external (conical) thread, letting the composite pipe run terminate at a threaded fixture, valve, or appliance connection.

It’s made from gunmetal (bronze), with a wrench flat for tightening the threaded side. It carries SC-Contur on the press connection, so an unpressed joint shows up as a visible leak once the system is filled for testing, and is certified for gas installations at this size.

It’s a straightforward way to bring a 25 mm Smartpress run out to a standard male-threaded connection point without introducing a separate coupling and nipple.
