Description

The VIEGA Smartpress multilayer composite pipe (model 4705.6, article 784805) is a 25 x 2.8 mm PE-Xc/aluminum/PE-Xc pipe supplied with a factory-applied 9 mm thermal insulation jacket in red, on a 25 m roll.

Its 5-layer construction — plastic, welded aluminum, plastic — blocks oxygen diffusion and keeps the pipe dimensionally stable, while the pre-applied insulation removes a separate lagging step on site. The red jacket is commonly used to mark heating flow lines, distinguishing them from other pipe runs on site.

It’s designed to be joined with Viega Smartpress press fittings, which crimp onto the plain pipe ends without an O-ring, for potable water and heating installations.
