Description

The VIEGA Sanpress Inox tee (model 2317.2, article 437190) branches off a 1/2″ internal (Rp) thread from a 28 mm stainless steel pipe run, with press connections on the two 28 mm through-ports and EPDM sealing elements at each joint.

The threaded branch is a convenient point to fit a valve, pressure gauge, sensor or drain cock directly into the line without introducing an additional adapter. Like the rest of the Sanpress Inox range, it’s built from stainless steel, rated to a higher working temperature than plastic-pipe systems, and includes SC-Contur so an unpressed press joint leaks visibly during the initial system fill.

It’s a common choice on stainless steel heating or potable-water manifolds and risers where an instrument or accessory needs to tap directly into the main line.
